Hundreds of dogs and their owners come together to celebrate man’s 100th birthday. Video

Birthdays are events people like less and less as they age. In fact, the majority of people would prefer to

completely ignore those days on the calendar. But even those days that serve as a reminder that we’re aging are always better with dogs.

A YouTube video reveals how one family in California celebrated their father’s 100th birthday in an unconventional way.

They held a dog parade for the man! And the community of four-legged animals and their two-legged owners gave a huge, huge response.

Dr. Robert Moore’s surprise dog parade included around 200 canines. According to the footage, Robert

was ecstatic to see the unexpected dog lineup and petted each dog who showed up to wish him a happy birthday.

Robert not only petted each creature in the neighborhood, but he also recognized each kind of dog he came across.

Vickie Mallon, one of Robert’s daughters, was ecstatic at the attendance. She remarked, ‘I think this is the biggest thing that’s happened in our family that’s made us the happiest.’

Despite the apparently never-ending line of canines waiting to meet Robert on his special day,

the surprises continued. According to the video, people brought ‘gifts, flowers, balloons, and posters.’

So who were these individuals who showed up and contributed to making Robert smile? These people were total strangers.

‘Most of them were strangers. They were, according to Robert Moore’s daughter Alison Moore. And it just,

it makes you feel great about your neighborhood that people would show up and do that for your dad, who you love so dearly.
