What could be worse than a traffic jam? A traffic jam, whether due to bad weather, an accident, or simply during rush hour, can ruin anyone’s mood.
And when you have to stand in it for several hours, then some drivers and passengers begin to go a
little crazy. Wendy Chupp Gosset was on her way from Denver to Pueblo with her 16-year-old son Nathan.
On the way, because of the storm, they got stuck in a traffic jam. After spending five hours in it, Wendy suddenly lost her patience.
Therefore, when her favorite song played on the radio, she decided to get up and unwind by dancing.
Traffic jam how does it usually happen? First comes the understanding that you are stuck here for a long time.
After that, they usually get a phone, check mail, pages on social networks, news. If children suddenly
appeared in the back seat, then they begin to complain or swear you have to somehow cope with them.
Seconds become minutes, and minutes become hours, and the cars stop and go, and at some point there really is nothing to do.
We also do not forget that many of those caught in a traffic jam were in a hurry to go somewhere and did not have time to go somewhere.
In a word, once in a traffic jam, it is easy and crazy to go crazy with irritation. It was in this situation that Wendy and her son found themselves.
The traffic jam at that time was formed due to a strong snowstorm. As a result, the federal highway was blocked. Wendy and Nathan spent almost five hours in it.
All this time, they were desperately trying to somehow entertain themselves and had already managed to discuss all possible topics.
Every parent has a limit of patience, to which it is better not to bring him. This is exactly what happened to Wendy.
So when the Backstreet Boys’ song called Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) started playing on the radio, she broke down and decided to vent her frustrations in an unbridled dance.
In just a few seconds, she was already making the most inconceivable movements, while not getting up from the driver’s seat.
Apparently, this hit, recorded back in 1997, brought her back to her early youth for a second. Nathan,
who had not even had time to be born in 1997, could not find a place for himself from shame at the antics of his mother.
But they were still flowers. The enraged mother was not going to end the concert at all, but instead decided to go out onto the big stage she opened
the car door and jumped straight onto the road, not paying any attention to the raging snow storm.
Without stopping her graceful dance for a second, she began to move from one car to another, shocking everyone around her with her appearance.
Poor Nathan pressed himself harder and harder into the chair, as if he wanted to fall through it, and then even in despair covered his ears with his hands.
Apparently, Wendy really lost the rest of her patience and decided to brighten up the waiting hours with an energetic dance to her favorite song.
And is it worth it to condemn her for this, because there was nothing else for them to do. Why
not just sit in your car and go crazy with annoyance and spend your time doing something more enjoyable?
The only company dancing was a dummy on the dashboard, which did not stop shaking his head while Wendy rushed from car to car, clapping her hands and smiling.
Mom didn’t lose her presence of mind at all because of her son’s reaction. On the contrary -throwing a casual glance at the car and noticing the state it was in, she even laughed carelessly.
You have to give Wendy credit. She managed to find a way to brighten up that stressful day and turn the now intolerable situation into a good joke.
Nathan also managed to cope with his feelings. Probably, he will never forget the day when his mother almost went crazy right on the highway to the amusement of all the spectators.
